The Mossberg 590 9-Shot Tactical Shotgun features a 20-inch matte blued barrel and a fixed length of pull synthetic stock. Its smooth cylinder bore is not threaded for chokes, making it ideal for Bird Shot, Buck Shot, or rifled slugs.
This shotgun is designed with a 3-inch chamber that accepts both 2-3/4 and 3-inch shotshells. The 9-shot configuration assumes the use of 2-3/4-inch shells, with 8 in the tube and 1 in the chamber.
