History
The original 1893 pump shotguns were designed for black powder and featured a unique open-top receiver that allowed fast loading from the top. When smokeless powder started to gain popularity, the design was strengthened and the open-top receiver was changed to a more conventional design (which became known as the famous Winchester Model 1897.)
IAC has reproduced the original 1893 Model by incorporating the same safety and performance features as our Model 97W while retaining the open-top, fast loading receiver of the original.
Available in 12 gauge with a 20″ barrel, this classic features a smooth action with positive feeding. The stocks are genuine, hand rubbed American walnut.
